About Me
Hi, I’m Rikki.
I’m the person behind Wise Owl Wellness: a mother, a lifelong student of people, and someone who has spent a lot of time noticing what happens between us.
I found yoga in 2003 and trained as a yoga teacher in 2009. From there, my curiosity wandered into Ayurveda, movement, breath, ritual, astrology, and grief. I kept following the questions that mattered to me: What helps us feel at home in ourselves? What happens when life gets hard? And how do we stay connected to one another through it?
These days, much of my work happens in the less visible moments. I spend time with children and families, paying attention to nervous systems, relationships, and the stories underneath what we can see. Sometimes support looks like movement or play. Sometimes it’s a pause, a different question, or one person feeling understood enough to try again. I also guide adults through one-to-one conversations and bring people together in gatherings where there is room for both tenderness and laughter.
I bring training, lived experience, strong intuition, and a willingness to keep learning. I don’t arrive with a perfect script. I listen, notice, and look for what becomes possible when we feel a little safer together.
A few other things about me: I’m a registered yoga teacher, an Ayurvedic diet, nutrition and lifestyle coach, a yoga health coach, and a somatic grief coach. I’ve also been a gymnastics and handstand coach, a wellness advocate, an astrological dreamer, and on most days, an avid smiler.
