The Liminal Space

What We Tend in the Dark

A six-month gathering for women

October 2026 - March 2027

The Liminal Space is a seasonal gathering for women, held through the fall and winter, where whatever is present may be welcomed and shared. In this year’s six-month offering, What We Tend in the Dark, we will move together from autumn’s descent, through winter’s quiet, and toward spring’s return with embodied movement, shared reflection, simple ritual, and hands-on making.

What We Will Do Together

Each gathering offers a way to bring what is present out of the unseen and into the hands. You may share aloud, work quietly, or move between the two. We’ll make something with our hands, a simple project woven into the gathering’s theme, giving what we’re exploring a shape, texture, or form. No crafting experience is needed; there is room to play, experiment, and make it your own.

Many of our supplies are sourced through my partnership with Soul Star Metaphysics. All registered participants will also receive selected discounts with them throughout our gathering season.

The Six-Month Journey

This offering follows a descent and return through the darker seasons. Each month is held by one simple action, explored through the body, shared reflection, ritual, and making.

A Note About Rhythm and Ritual

The gathering moves with the natural rhythm of the season, from autumn’s descent into winter and toward the return of spring. Seasonal and astrological patterns offer a gentle symbolic thread for each month. No knowledge of astrology or particular spiritual belief is needed.

Ritual simply means a small, intentional action that helps us mark an experience, give it form, or carry it differently.

About Rikki

I’m Rikki Warwaruk, a Relational Nervous System Educator and movement teacher. For the past five years, I have held grief gatherings for women in homes and community spaces. The Liminal Space grows from that work, continuing to make room for grief while widening the circle to welcome whatever is present.

My work brings together embodied movement, nervous system awareness, seasonal rhythm, ritual, and creative practice. I hold spaces where women can meet themselves honestly, be witnessed without being fixed, and give form to what they are carrying.
